Nexium 40 mg Tablets
Prevacid® is a popular medicine used to treat stomach acid problems caused by chronic stomach acid (heartburn). It belongs to a group of medicines called acid-suppressing drugs.
The tablet contains the active ingredient esomeprazole, which works by blocking the absorption of stomach acid in the intestines and stomach. This helps to prevent acid from building up in the stomach, which may help to prevent heartburn, acid reflux and other stomach problems.
Prevacid® is available only with a doctor’s prescription.
